We Support

Ocean Conservancy works with millions of volunteers of all ages, from all around the world, on our International Coastal Clean. They have been doing so for more than 30 years.

Even more, we focus on long-term solutions that promote a healthy ocean, abundant wildlife and thriving coastal communities.

What happens to the ocean impacts all of us. The ocean is our responsibility, but we can’t do it alone—we need to join forces with you and people around the world to keep our ocean and our coastal communities healthy and prosperous.

EPIC was established in 2000 with the mission to protect the Caribbean environment through research and community-based action. This mission is achieved through three core programs:

  1. Conservation of Wetlands and Coastal Habitats
  2. Songbirds as Environmental Indicators
  3. Conservation of Key Marine Bird Habitats

When approaching projects at new sites, our methodology typically begins with scientific research, scoping meetings, and building partnerships. We then create an effective plan for conducting outreach programs and, ultimately, community-based actions to protect and/or restore habitats and threatened species.

One of the goals that Sea Turtle Conservation Curacao has set itself, is to reach and make aware the largest possible group of people because only when everybody comes together we can change the current worrying situation in the ocean.

We need to change our behavior to prevent that in 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. To reach as many people as possible is a big challenge for conservation organizations but Sea Turtle Conservation Curacao is up for that challenge.
